Error Code 0x80D0000A  means failure, and it usually appears when trying to install apps on Windows 10 via the Windows 10 Store. Since the majority has upgraded to Windows 10 – this means, that many previously corrupt entries and incorrect cached data may have been used as the source for the Store app functionality which as a result fails to install the app.

In this guide we have researched through various forums to combine all solutions that are reported to work for many users.

Solution 1: Create new Microsoft Account

  1. Go to Action center and click All Settings and go to Accounts
  2. Go to Family & other users, click Add someone else to this PC and add a new account
  3. Once you complete adding the user sign out from your main administrator account and sign in with the new account
  4. When you are logged in with new account try to download an app from Windows store, this time there should not be an error
  5. Sign out from new account and sign in with your administrative account
  6. Go back to All Settings and under the Your account tab, change the account to a local account by clicking on Sign in with a local account instead
  7. Once you complete the local account set-up try to download an app from Windows store, this time should work. If not try restarting your computer
  8. Once everything works you can change your local account back to Microsoft Account
  9.  Also, you can Disable sync settings options by going to All Settings then Accounts and Sync your settings tab and turn off Sync settings
