The iPhone 6 uses a linear oscillating vibrator; the purpose of vibrator is pretty self-explanatory from the name “Vibrator”.
Myriads of reasons could be found which could cause vibrator from stop working. This is a hardware issue, and like every other hardware issue it can be dealt with keen observation to the details of the manual.
Vibrator is present at the southern part of the device; it can be replaced by disconnecting the battery cable connector from the logic board and replacing it with the new one.

1. Power-off your iPhone 6 before disassembling your device.
2. Remove the two pentalobe screws (3.6mm wide) from bottom of the device.
3. Use iSclack in order to open the phone safely. iSclack (Suction Pump) is the simplest and safest tool for opening the iPhone device.
4. In case the plastic depth gauge is attached at the center of the iSclack, you might want to remove it—it’s not required for larger phones like the iPhone 6.
5. Place your iPhone in between the suction cups of iSclack.
6. Make sure the suction cups are just above the home button of your iPhone
7. Now open up the jaws of iSclack and in the center of suction cups place your device and press the handles of iSclack together.
8. Now free the handle of iSclack so that it will peel the two suction cups off your iPhone.
9. Pull up the home button end of the front panel so that your iPhone 6 rear case assembly away, using the top (Home screen) as a hinge.
10. Make sure you keep the front panel supported at a 90º angle in relation to the rear case until you remove it—allowing it to fall flat will strain the display cables and their connections on the logic board.
11. Now unscrew five Phillips screws off the metal plate which secures the front panel assembly cables.
Three 1.2 millimeter screws
One 1.7 millimeter screw
One 3.1 millimeter screw
12. Detach the front panel assembly cable bracket out of the logic board.
13. Now use the flat and smooth end of a spudger/Pry tool to disconnect the sensor cable connector and the front-facing camera.
14. Now place the pry tool beneath the cable and use some force, it will pop right up.
15. Now place the smooth end of a spudger beneath the home button flex cable in order to disconnect it from the logic board.
16. Now with a little bit of force, it will come right off.
17. Now use the pry tool or the flat end of a smudger in order to disconnect the third and the last cable to completely disconnect the screen from the frame.
18. Place the end of tool beneath the cable; just like you did for the first two cables, this cable will pop-out as well with little force.
19. Now detach the front panel assembly from the rear (back) case.
20. Now on the logic board, right next to the dock connector, unscrew the two screws, one of 2.2 mm and the other of 3.2 mm from the small metal plate on battery connecter with the help of screwdriver.
21. Take the small metal plate right off from the battery cable connector.
22. Now by using the pry tool, gently pry up your battery connector socket on the logic board. That’d disconnect the battery from the device.
23. Now, with the help of screwdriver, unscrew the 1.6 mm Phillip #00 screws carefully from either sides of the vibrator, which is present at the southern part of the device.
24. Now with the help of a tweezers, take the vibrator out from the phone.
25. Replace the faulty vibrator with a new one and carefully do everything in reverse. If you forget which screw goes where, then use the screw chart of iPhone 6 below.
