The settings; are usually preconfigured when you install or setup anti virus or other security software’s. Another less common cause for this issue is when the servers at Microsoft which is resolved by itself in a few attempts.
However, before we conclude this as a server fault; we need to do the steps below to fix the issue.
a) First reboot your PC; after you’re logged into Windows as normal do the following:
b) Turn off Windows Defender and any other anti virus/firewall software’s (you’re using).
c) Hold the Windows Key and Press R on your keyboard to open Run Dialog OR simply click start and type msconfig in the search followed by Enter.
d) In Run Dialog type msconfig and click on the Services Tab and place a check on Hide All Microsoft Services then click on Disable All
e) Click Start Up Tab and click Disable All.
f) Click Apply and Restart.
