On Desktop/Notebooks Running Windows 10
On desktop devices running Windows 10, there are several ways to update. The first way is to click here and click “Update now” which should download and install the latest windows updates on your system, if Anniversary Update is applicable, then it will install the Anniversary Update.
Alternatively, you can go to Settings> Updates & Security>Windows Update and click “Check for updates”. Download all updates you’re missing, restart the device as instructed and the error will disappear.
