How to Fix Error 0x80000003 when playing Halo 5 forge on Windows 10

Users of Halo 5: forge has reported that they are getting error 0x80000003 while launching it. It is important that we should make sure that we meet the minimum specifications requirement in order to get it working correctly. In order to play Halo 5: forge on Windows 10 you should be on version 1607 or higher. You must be running a 64-bit version of Windows 10. Halo 5: forge will not work on the 32-bit system. You need to have DirectX 12 or later installed on your system. You can check here to find out the minimum requirement in order to run Halo 5: forge.

Error 0x80000003 while launching Halo 5: forge is caused due to the reason that the CPU core count is below the minimum specifications required to run Halo 5. CPU should contain at least 4 physical cores. So make sure that your system meets the minimum physical core requirement. In order to check current CPU cores, you can follow below steps

  1. Right click on Taskbar and Click on Task Manager to open it
  2. On the Task Manager go to Performance Tab
  3. Check the core count listed next to Cores

Check if you match the core count requirement or above the requirement.
