- Navigate to the Default Properties tab. If the Default Authentication Level is set to None, open the list and set it to Connect. If it isn’t set to None, don’t change it, as it may have been set by an administrator. In the Default Impersonation Level list, select Identify. Click OK, and then Yes to confirm your settings. Close the Component Services window.
